Spike Lee's "When The Levees Broke" Is Stunning, Effective, An American Classic

While I haven't always enjoyed Spike Lee's "fictional" dramatic films (loved some, uncertain about others), I have to say that "When The Levees Broke" is one hell of a stunning piece of film making.

Tonight's been my first chance to see it on HBO and I'm riveted even though I have other things I should be doing. And no, it's not just because so many are angry at Bush (and that wonderful ER physician in Mississippi who told Dick Cheney to "go fuck yourself!")

Anyone else have opinions who has seen it?
