The New Yorker's Seymour Hersh: The U.S. Choreographed the Israeli Assault on Lebanon As A Prelude to Attack on Iran

That's what Sy Hersh said in the 27 nanoseconds Wolf Blitzer gave this celebrated journalist on CNN Late Edition just before the program ended a moment ago. Read Hersh's important piece for yourself, "Annals of National Security" at The New Yorker right now.

One of the many key points Hersh makes is that in order for Iran to be attacked, the military had to get rid of the huge stockpile of Katusha and other rockets Hezbollah had in Southern Lebanon... which is exactly what the Israeli campaign on Hizbollah in Lebanon has accomplished (Israel certainly has NOT won this war, but it's definitely brought down the number of rockets).
