If You Want to Further Destroy the American Middle Class and Working Class, Vote GOP

I agree with the Clarion Ledger!

The irony is that this party promotes itself as pro-family; yet it does everything possible to harm families and support big businesses and the rich. While their legislative acts are morally incomprehensible, I understand the logic: greed.

The rich, namely CEOs of big multi-national corporations, heavily finance Republican candidates. Take a look at campaign records of U.S. Sens. Trent Lott and Thad Cochran and U.S. Rep. Chip Pickering and you'll see proof in the numbers.

However, what I don't understand is how the working-class and middle-class Americans, particular those in Mississippi, can continue to justify their support for a party with this anti-family, anti-labor, anti-consumer, anti-public, anti-poor record.

It is because of this party's leadership that thousands of Americans have died in an unjust and unjustified war that has cost this nation billions.

If President Bush were a Democrat, he would have been impeached by now.
