When Even George W. Will Admits Cheney and Architects of Iraq War Are Purposely Playing Dumb

[Here's a hoot: President Bush said today Democrats won't bring success in Iraq if they succeed on Election Day - both actual voting and rigged electronic voting programs - which is ironic considering how very, very, very badly Bush and Cheney have handled Iraq. Hell, your grandmother would have more success in Iraq than these megalomaniacs.]

Well, I must admit that Will came around for the first time about a year ago, sometimes writing scathing and usually factually correct commentary (notable for Will who often does not seem to be right in any way except idealogically) about the Bush-Cheney-Rumsfeld trinity, Iraq, and some hopelessly wrong policies.

In his latest column in Newsweek, Will says Iraq has been in a civil war for more than a year, but the architects of this war, like Cheney and Rumsfeld, simply refuse to acknowledge it.

But he's kinder than I would be with Cheney. Will writes that Cheney doesn't "get it" on Iraq while I think The Dick gets it just fine; he just won't tell the truth, not if everyone else's life depends on it.
