Politics on the Half Shell

Rather than give each of these a separate posting, I'll lump some shorts here:

First, Sanctimonius "Man on Dog Having Sex With Dwarf Cousins" Rick Santorum, the incumbent, is trailing Casey in Pennsylvania's Senate race. Hurray!

Sen. George "macaca" Allen still non-apology apologizing for his racial slurs against someone trailing his campaign. I can think of a few slurs that would be quite apt against Mr. Allen.

Bush revamps his lies done up as "fighting terrorism" message while he supposedly is "haunted" (yeah, right, sure) about the slow response to last year's Hurricane Katrina. Like hell it bothers him; he's no doubt as miffed at poor black New Orleans residents as he is at the Iraqi people for spoiling his good time.

Meanwhile, Dems point to yet more of the Bushies' no-bid contracts awarded for Hurricane Katrina cleanup.

Also, charges against the Kentucky governor have been dropped.
