Mother Jones: Who Would You Rather Read? Judy Miller or Gary Webb?

Buzzflash points us to a good article in the current Mother Jones asking who you would prefer to read: Judith Miller who is the disgraced former NY Times "journalist" who basically delivered Pentagon press releases rather than bother with investigative research or Gary Webb, a man purported to have committed suicide after his reputation was called into question when he broke the story of the CIA dumping drugs into black communities to try to ruin them.

I've always wondered if Webb indeed did commit suicide. But I've never found anything definitive either way, whether suicide or murder. I do know that there are many ways the folks in Washington, D.C. can destroy the credibility of a person who blows the whistle on them.
