In Defense of The Indefensible... err... CNN

Regarding my immediately previous post, I should say something in CNN's defense (though why escapes me...).

To be fair, CNN is simply too busy covering other important world stories to do the Bush-Merkel-backrub story due justice. Uh, no, those other stories are NOT Israel about to cream what's left of Lebanon in the futile efforts to quash Hezbollah. No, Iraq as a civil war isn't quite as important either. CNN has even BIGGER STORIES for you to feast upon!

For example, go to CNN right now, and you will find not one but THREE (3) - count 'em, THREE - links to both "Dakota Fanning is raped in next film" and "Vampire Web site used to lure girls" stories.

Mind you, I'll agree that Dakota Fanning's acting is almost as scary and bad as Bush's attempts to be the leader of the free world. In fact, I think Dakota Fanning could probably be just as good a president AS Mr. Bush - just as "deep" and thoughtful and just as well behaved. And, no doubt, she can be just as articulate. Hell, perhaps she can pronounce nuclear correctly!
