Duly Noted Disparities

[Ed. note: These death toll figures were before more than 70 civilians were killed in Lebanon today and before tonight's 23-ton "compassionate to civilian" bombs were dropped by Israel tonight. At last report, 29 are dead in Israel, at least two of them were young Arab brothers.]

From As'ad at The Angry Arab:

Even the New York Times, on the 8th day of Israeli aggression, has noticed the obvious: "The asymmetry in the reported death tolls is marked and growing: some 230 Lebanese dead, most of them civilians, to 25 Israeli dead, 13 of them civilians. In Gaza, one Israel soldier has died from his own army’s fire, and 103 Palestinians have been killed, 70 percent of them militants."
