Speaking of People Needing a Reality Check: The Prime Minister of Israel

According to Ha'aretz, Israeli Prime Minister Olmert has just announced Israel is "winning the battle" against Hezbollah.

Uh, no. Despite having the third or fourth most powerful and well equipped military in the world - mostly equipped by the U.S. - and despite turning the country of Lebanon into rubble, Israel has made a very poor showing in its stated objective of wiping out Hezbollah.

Israel needs to think about getting a leader who deals in reality as much as the U.S. needs one, I think.
