How Big a Deal is Tuesday's Democratic Primary in Connecticut

With a lovely tie-in to my previous post, this is the question posed at The Carpetbagger Report (their Sunday discussion feature is always a must-read for me).

As a former Connecticutian (say THAT three times fast!), I have to say it's probably the most important primary of either party there in a great long while. It's an unusual circumstance, too, of an electorate who is very dissatisfied with a long-time incumbent, Joseph Lieberman, and want to oust him. For Dems to oust a Dem at this time, when a lot rides on the balance of power in the Senate, is noteworthy. Nutmeg Staters must feel that Lamont is a better candidate by far or they would not assume this risk.

Go jump into the debate.
