White Phosphorus in Lebanon, Use of Lasers and High-Speed Microwaves as Weapons in Iraq?

I'm still reeling from two different reports today: CNN's about how the Israeli Army is using white phosphorus within civilian areas in Lebanon and the U.S.' use of lasers and high-speed microwaves in Iraq (we've already inundated Iraq with depleted uranium).

White phosphorus for those who haven't heard of it is a nasty way to increase the suffering of your casualties exponentially. And the majority of Israeli casualties in Lebanon are women, children, and other non-Hezbollah civilians.

Israel also attacked a UN facility in Lebanon today, killing two of the UN observers stationed there. Nice. It reminds me of the kid in "Sixth Sense" only instead of seeing dead people everywhere, the Israeli Army sees Hezbollah anywhere it happens to look.

Also, Human Rights Watch reports that Israel is using cluster bombs in high population civilian areas, which means far more innocent people are apt to be hurt. Yet Israel keeps saying they are careful not to incur civilian casualties as well as invoking Rumsfeld's favorite excuse: terrorists hide in civilian neighborhoods.
