Slips of the Tongue Happen But the GOP Especially Shows Cavalier Disregard for Anyone Not White, Protestant, and Male

Everyone has a slip of the tongue occasionally, but especially among the Republican power base in the U.S., these "slips" happen so regularly that it truly is, I believe, a systematic disregard for anyone who is not white, protestant, and male. We get this racial slurring with Jews, with Nazi references, with blacks and Asians and Hispanics, with Muslims, and certainly with women.

I mention this because GOP Massachusetts governor (and he wants to be president, too) Mitt Romney - whose IQ is such that he might be on loan from the Texas GOP - used the "tar baby" reference.

And just like a GOPer, his "apology" made it sound like the problem didn't really lie with his stupid ass remark, but with anyone who has nothing else to do but take offense with his comment.
