"Fox Reality" And The Fox Spin on Ted Kennedy As Enemy Of The State

I happened to watch a few minutes of TV the other night and kept seeing a promo for a "new" network that I find more frightening than anything you'll see on Halloween! It's Fox Reality!

Speaking of Fox Reality (now there's an oxymoron), Think Progress brings us this about Ted Kennedy as "hostile enemy" so we don't have to bother our beautiful minds with the likes of Bull.. er.. Bill O'Reilly and Sean Insanity uh... Hannity:

This morning on Fox News, anchor Gretchen Carlson called Sen. Ted Kennedy (D-MA) a “hostile enemy” of the United States because he has demanded that Congress vote on whether to approve funding for escalation in Iraq. In an interview with White House counselor Dan Bartlett, Carlson compared Kennedy to insurgents and terrorists in Iraq, saying that Kennedy represented the same kind of force “right here on the home front.”
Mind you, at least one Republican, Gordon Smith of Oregon, went on record this week as agreeing strongly with Kennedy that Congress had not only the right but the responsibility to determine whether Bush can "surge" (from his comfy chair at 1600 Pennsylvania while the combat-age Bush twins drug-drunk-and-sexually-dangle their way through the world).

Earlier in the week, another Foxer declared Sean Penn as their first-ever official "enemy of the state" winner.

What the fuck are they worried about Sean Penn over?

As for Fox, I keep wondering why it is we have a federal law making it illegal for the government to transmit propaganda while we have Fox News operating like the White House mouthpiece.
