Ken Lay: His Convictions for Enron Dealings Are Wiped Clean

According to CNN, a court has decided that since Ken Lay, former head of Enron and convicted in May for crimes that could have led to decades in jail, died in July, his convictions will be wiped away as if he was never charged or convicted. Also, the U.S. Department of Justice now can't collect the many, many millions of dollars to help repay Enron investors.
