Blog Revolution? Yea or Nay?

CNet also brings us this story, originally from the New York Times, about how the man behind Gawker Media, the home organization of such salacious blogs as Gawker, Wonkette, and Fleshbot, disputes that blogs are a revolution.

What he says may or may not be applicable. But his brand of blogs isn't exactly revolutionary, nor is it doing some of the important work of say, a David Sirota, in trying to connect the dots between what appears in the Mainstream Media and that which affects us all. His blogs are an easy read for those who want a lighter, snarkier take on the stage they cover. That's it.
