Is anyone else as surprised as I am that, even in Bushie World where black is white and down is up, that Donald Rumsfeld can say with a straight face that he's never even considered resigning?

What normal, sane mortal would not have at least considered resignation when faced with at least two - if not three - horribly disastrous wars (Iraq, Afghanistan, Terrorism), the loss of so many lives in what was supposed to be a "cakewalk" which "pays for itself many times over", with record numbers of deserters and suicides and walk-outs among his legions, and with men with far greater military experience than him screaming for his removal?

Does this ring true to you?
