Newsweek: Iran's Stealth War Against the U.S. and Israel

As you might imagine, I have some problems with this piece out today in Newsweek about the Iran's stealth war against the U.S. and Israel. One is that it fails to acknowledge that the situation isn't exactly one-sided, although I believe the U.S.' and Israel's war against Iran is anything but stealth.

Israel made it very clear many years ago, and renewed again with the rise of the neocons here in the U.S., that it wants the U.S. to engage Iran. And the Bushies and neo-cons (not always the same critters, but close) have their own reasons for wanting to pummel Iran.

Anyone with any knowledge of history, however, knows that since the days of Kermit Roosevelt (Teddy's grandson), Iran has reasons to hate us, too, for destabilizing a country and removing their democratically elected leaders.
