Some, myself included, feel the conflict being waged in Lebanon by Israel against Hezbollah makes it far, far more likely that we (the U.S.) will engage Iran if not Syria as well. There are clues - some subtle, some fairly blatant, and some hardly clues because they are statements by neocons like Newt Gingrich and James Woolsey - that this will become a reality.
