Bushies: The Real Agenda

The New York Times today looks closely at the Bushies' way of doing business with the people they call - but never seem to prove - are terrorists and how those methods have eviscerated American credibility in the eyes of the world.

To summarize the oped, which is the same conclusion many of us came to long, long ago, is that all of this Bush effort has NOT been aimed at wiping out terrorists let alone protecting America. Instead, it's all been about expanding presidential powers in ways even Richard M. Nixon never dreamed possible.
