After Five Years of Imprisonment and With No Charges Ever Filed, Supposedly Last 9-11 Detainee Finally Released

I say supposedly because we really don't know if this man is the last of the people picked up with little provocation after the attacks on September 11th, 2001 and held under horrific conditions and subjected to non-stop questioning without a single charge ever being filed. We disappeared people. Many of them remain unaccounted for; many died in custody.

What we did after 9-11 - and continue to do nearly five years later - is unforgivable, unconstitutional, and makes a lie out of the ideals we hold most dear.
