Fisk: Iraq About to Explode

British independent journalist today on "Democracy Now" says that while it's been talked about before, Iraq really is just about to completely implode and that no one there recognizes the authority of PM Allawi except US handlers.

While it's been impossible to hear much because of all our concern about terrorists here, we've had at least a dozen soldiers killed this week, dozens of Iraqis (not counting the claimed three hundred insurgents we've killed), power failures in 122 degree heat are not uncommon, people are rioting, and there's a new supposed plan to kill Allawi. And that's just a quick roundup.
