Commander vs. Bully-in-Chief

They keep telling us Kerry got no bounce from the Dem Convention (what little coverage there was - and trust me, that nice, bright, flaming orange terror alert will bump up coverage of the GOP Convention which ends just before all those 3-year memorials for 9-11), but Atrios tells us that a Washington Post/ABC poll reports Kerry leads Bush on the question of who would be a better commander-in-chief, 52:44.

I don't necessarily want to meet the 44% who think Bush would be a better commander in chief than just about anyone (and I'm not necessarily excluding Ozzie Osbourne, Howard Stern, Jessica Simpson, or Courtney Love).
