Israel's Mission: Wipe Out Hezbollah/Hizbollah

WaPo talks about world opinion as to how well this little mission is apt to succeed.

My take? Israel is no more going to defeat Hezbollah through its destruction of Lebanon than my boycott of Chinese-made products worked 8-10 years ago (Wal-Mart is still alive and so are the people in China who use political prisoners to make really cheap crap) and no more than Bush's "war on Iraq to keep terrorists from fighting here" OR Mr. Bush's War on Terror to defeat ALL terrorism have worked.

No, Israel will accomplish through this what Mr. Bush has accomplished in Iraq and in the global War of Terror: they create dozens if not hundreds of new "terrorists" everyday while both Israel and the U.S. engage in dozens if not hundreds acts of state-sponsored terrorism everyday. 'Nuff said.
