BBC: Chinese Perhaps Using Falun Gong Prisoners for Lucrative Transplant Trade
Just heard a report on BBC World News that China may be using prisoners picked up under their "No Falun Gong ever" policy for human transplants as more and more Chinese operations offer "fast" transplant matches to needy recipients around the world.
While I could only find this report from April on the BBC site, there is also this from (cough, cough, wheeze) Free Republic (and knowing them, they may endorse the practice), which seems to be from at least some of the same source (Canada) as the BBC report. One has it that a Web site in China advertises that it has healthy Falun Gong members in a pen just waiting for wealthy Westerners to come seeking a tissue match.
