John Roberts

I'm dismayed to read today that Sen. Patrick Leahy (D-VT) will vote in favor of John Roberts for the Supreme Court Chief Justice spot.

Yes, I know Roberts' confirmation is pretty much a given, but I think he's a bad choice, someone with a legal history of opposing the rights and quality of life of individuals rather in favor of corporations or the US, which I'm starting to occasionally believe is the world's biggest organized crime family. Sadly, I say this latter point with far less humor intended than you may first think. This issue breaks my heart.
