"From Blame Game to Numbers Game"

James Wolcott presents something we've touched upon here in comments and discussed elsewhere as well: if the number of dead in NOLA turns out to be more than 3,000, Bush has problems because of the emphasis with which we've played the 3,000 dead on 9/11 again and again and again. If anyone notes that the flu and aspirin overdoses and pneumonia account for far more deaths each year, the hypocrit right immediately declares you card-carrying al Qaeda.
