More Drumbeats of Mr. Bush's Next War? Syria Warns Against Border Deployment

BEIRUT, Lebanon - Israel's foreign minister said Wednesday the situation in Lebanon was "explosive" while Syria's president says the deployment of international troops along the Syria-Lebanon border would be a "hostile" act.

It won't matter to Bush and the neocons that:

• our military is so far overstretched now as to be practically useless
• we have never before had a military that requires so many people OVER the age of 50 to fight and which must accept so many recruits who cannot pass basic testing
• our military is so poorly trained now and often does not ship out with even basic tools needed to survive
• all Bush's other wars have bankrupted us and returned us to record levels of national debt (while Bush can't give enough tax breaks to the wealthiest Americans)
• The Bushies with Rumsfeld have NEVER won a war they've started; that each war that is supposed to be a "cakewalk" has become a quagmire
• the whole world already despises and distrusts us and we'll be even more villified if we go to war in Syria and/or Iran
• we will further destabilize the Middle East, just as Iraq helped lay the crumbling foundation for the devastation of Lebanon

And these are only the high points!
