Hope for Opiate Addicts?

I feel strangely encouraged by this new program using a drug called buprenorphin to treat those with opiate-based addictions. Unlike Methadone which requires addicts to get to centers to receive it, this is available by prescription through a general med practitioner once a patient had been "inducted".
