Another Bit of Skew as WaPo Describes Intensive Air Strikes
The Washington Post's headline may talk about intensive air strikes from Israel, but its focus in the article and its teaser is entirely on casualties inside Israel, which have been much smaller (less than 10% of) civilian deaths from much greater fire power leveled by Israel on Lebanon.
BOTH sides should be represented; all to often however, deaths of civilian Palestinians and Lebanese take a backseat to almost exclusive focus on Israeli civilian deaths.
WaPo also discusses Israel's fight to "secure a key region" in Lebanon, how Secretary of Stiff Condi Rice is headed to the region (but first and foremost to Israel), and how former Israeli PM Ariel Sharon's condition is worsening (although how, since he's been in a terminal coma for months, he could "worsen" seems open to question).
