Schumer and Clinton: Republicans in Dem Clothing

While the Dems promise a filibuster in the Senate on attempts to vote on the appointment of John Bolton as ambassador to the United Nations, dear dear dear "only in it for myself" Chuck Schumer and Hillary Clinton seem poised to vote FOR Bolton, reports Think Progress.

John Bolton - about as much of a diplomat as Mr. T, Leona Helmsley, or Courtney Love - has already served in the U.N. for about a year (amid much criticism both here at home and abroad) because Bush forced him down the world's throats when it seemed clear Bolton would not pass the Senate. Now the Bushies want to make it seem like the world loves Bolton and that's why he's forcing the matter back to the Senate for a vote.
