One Important Additional Detail on Electronic Voting Systems

To follow up my previous post on Kerry, Blackwell, voting irregularities and such, let me add that you can't be complacent thinking that if you happen to vote - as I do by "Australian" paper ballot here in Vermont - by paper or other non-techie voting, your vote may STILL be "stolen".

This is because paper ballots frequently (as in the vast majority of the time) get optically scanned, another form of electronic voting systems. These are also proving very easy to tamper with.

We DESERVE to have every vote counted and counted CORRECTLY to reflect our will as the people of this country. This isn't a partisan issue, although the GOP has been the greatest benefactor of fraudulent votes thus far.

Democrats, Republicans, Independents, and all others should demand a fair and accurate vote. The Bushies and the Karl Rove arm of the GOP do NOT want this to happen. We must let our will stand and theirs go into the boys' bathroom where they belong.
