John Michael Karr: "Pay Attention To Me Even Though I Didn't Kill JonBenet Ramsey!"

I made a point of not watching Larry King Live tonight where the self-proclaimed brain trust of John Michael Karr, the teacher of children who pretended for about seven seconds that he had killed JonBenet Ramsey, the six-year-old beauty queen.

What I heard about it after the fact, however, was rather interesting. The new "talk show" shrink, Keith Ablow, did the interview and Karr was taped by a hidden camera doing and saying some pretty odd things when he thought all the cameras and audio were stopped. Whatever else is going on with this "teacher", he's got enough control over himself to present himself one way to the "recording cameras" and quite another when he thinks he is not being recorded. Both sides, however, are amazingly manipulative.

We know now - long before this Karr sit-down - that he was not the killer. Hell, there is no evidence he was anywhere near Boulder where the murder took place.

Seriously though, I think it's time the media and the people who watch/listen to them need to cut this man out of the attention loop.
