"Incompetent" Now Used to Identify Bush by Americans

President Bush’s approval rating according to Pew Research. “Just 42% now approve of Bush’s job in handling terrorist threats, an 11-point drop since February.” Also: “Honesty had been the single trait most closely associated with Bush, but in the current survey ‘incompetent’ is the descriptor used most frequently.”

The honesty thing was always a crock of shit: from the lie about the carefully crafted Crawford Ranch (which, as predicted, Bush has spent a LOT less time at since he was re-selected) to the lies about his cocaine and alcohol abuse, to 9/11 and beyond, honest is a word that should never be used in connection with Dubya.
