Ed&Pub: How the Middle East Crisis Plays in Beirut's Leading Newspaper

The word there isn't good and the fault is laid, at least in part, on our doorstep, because the weapons being used to kill Lebanese civilians are stamped American made, furnished to the Israelis sometimes for free. For all we talk about how Iran and Syria funds terrorists in Lebanon and Iraq, the American press pays little attention to the fact that we're responsible for a hell of a lot of the bloodshed inflicted by Israel on its neighbors.
