Link Lust - Week #1

Someone suggested that I formally have a thread each week in which I encourage readers to post their links for any of the following:

* a story covered nowhere else
* a story or post elsewhere you particularly enjoyed
* a story or post elsewhere that bugged the hell out of you
* anything else you'd like to share

I know many folks come here who don't post. So why not say hello with a favorite link to expand horizons?

[P.S.: This blogger rarely bites. When she does bite, it rarely hurts (even though she admittedly has sharp little teeth) AND she's up-to-date on her shots.]
