When Is Enough Enough in Lebanon?

More than 800,000 civilians in Lebanon have been displayed, while the Israeli military brags that it has flown more than 1,500 sortees and dropped more than 20,000 rounds of artillery in the 11 days or so of their action in Lebanon, and with thousands of additional troops on the ground. All of this in the name of wiping out Hezbollah, which seems to still be going strong.

MSNBC right now is showing almost all the bridges are gone, financial districts flattened, hospitals hit, and more than a third of the wounded cannot get any aid because they are cut off from help, both because Israel is helping to keep aid trucks out and because the IDF has wiped out the transportation infrastructure.

And Rice has been there most of 24 hours and.. as MSNBC just put it.. "may be too little, too late". Indeed. Uh oh: Andrea Mitchell just told us that the U.S. is leading the diplomacy to save Lebanon. These poor people are about to suffer even more if that's the case.
