Be Careful What You Awaken To

Sleep hasn't been my friend lately so, after finally falling off around 6 am, I didn't actually arise until shortly before 10, when the first words I heard from MSNBC were:

Israeli Troops Tear Down Border Wall, Forcibly Enter UN Outpost

Yeah, that's a good start to the day, a reminder that Israel, like the U.S., loves to use a U.N. resolution and bylaws when it suits their purposes while happy to treat them like a recalcitrant prom date when they want to get their rocks off. Then, also like the U.S., Israel complains that "no one takes the U.N. seriously so why bother to try diplomatic avenues through them."
